Therapy notes
built for UK GDPR.
Many AI note tools were built for the US market first. NoteSono was built for UK therapists — notes stored in the EU, ICO registered, and designed around UK private practice rather than American insurance billing.

Where data lives
Your notes are stored in the EU. Some AI processing uses providers outside the UK and EU under data processing terms that exclude training on your data.
Lawful basis documented
We process data on the basis of Contract (delivering the service) and Legitimate Interests. Our privacy notice explains this clearly.
Special category data
Your clients' notes are health data. As the controller you'll usually rely on Article 9(2)(h) and DPA 2018 Schedule 1 paragraph 2; we process them on your instructions as your processor.
Data subject rights
You can export your notes and client list as a ZIP file at any time. You can delete individual notes or your entire account. A subject access pack can be generated from each client's record.
No AI training on your data
Your clinical notes are never used to train AI models. Your data is yours — it exists solely to provide the service.
